R Qahwah Café was preparing to open a new Yemeni-style coffee shop in the United States, with a strong focus on brand identity, cultural presentation and the details of the customer experience.
The owner wanted more than standard takeaway packaging. From English and Arabic branding to coordinated colors across cups, bags, tableware and staff uniforms, every product needed to feel like part of the same café.
With an opening deadline approaching, the customer also needed to manage purchasing quantities, production schedules and international delivery without coordinating multiple suppliers independently.
What began as a complete café opening supply project developed into a long-term partnership covering customized packaging, drinkware, café accessories, branded apparel, retail coffee bags and seasonal packaging.
For R Qahwah Café, preparing a new coffee shop meant making hundreds of small decisions before welcoming the first customer.
The owner needed paper cups, plastic cups, cup sleeves, napkins, takeaway bags, cup carriers, food boxes and straws. The café also required glassware, ceramic cups, wooden trays and branded staff uniforms, including T-shirts, caps and aprons.
Each category involved different materials, printing methods, specifications and production requirements.
Purchasing these products separately would mean finding multiple manufacturers, explaining the same brand requirements repeatedly, comparing different quotations and coordinating several production schedules and shipments.
Brand consistency made the process even more demanding.
R Qahwah Café wanted its English and Arabic designs to work together across different packaging formats. The owner paid particular attention to color matching, gold printing effects and how the finished products would look in actual use.
A design that appeared attractive on a digital mockup did not always translate perfectly onto ceramic, paper or plastic surfaces.
The customer also needed guidance on practical details, including cup capacities, lid compatibility, coffee bag structures and printing layouts.
At the same time, the opening schedule created significant pressure.
With the store already incurring rental costs, delays in receiving essential supplies could directly affect opening preparations. Different manufacturers had different production schedules, and the project also faced the Chinese New Year holiday period and international shipping uncertainties.
Faster shipping could help meet the deadline, but it also increased costs.
For a new café balancing its opening budget, product quality, brand presentation and delivery time, managing all these decisions independently would have been a considerable burden.
R Qahwah Café needed more than a packaging manufacturer. It needed a reliable sourcing partner that could coordinate different products, protect brand consistency and help keep opening preparations moving.

AT PACK approached the project as a complete café supply requirement rather than a collection of individual product orders.
Our team helped coordinate products across several categories, bringing together paper packaging, plastic drinkware, glassware, ceramic products, serving accessories and branded apparel through one purchasing relationship.
Instead of requiring the customer to contact different factories for each product, AT PACK provided a central point of communication for product selection, customization, design confirmation and production coordination.
This made the purchasing process more convenient, especially as the customer continued refining specifications and adding new requirements.
Our team also provided product recommendations and visual mockups to help the owner understand different options before production.
When flat artwork was difficult to interpret, we provided alternative product views to make the design easier to evaluate.
When the customer wanted matching designs across cups, bags and uniforms, AT PACK coordinated the artwork and color requirements across different materials.
One example involved the ceramic cups.
The customer felt that the original printed color did not work well on the white ceramic surface. Rather than simply proceeding with the initial result, AT PACK arranged a revised printing solution and provided updated images for confirmation.
After seeing the improvement, the customer responded:
"I love it!!!! Thank you!"
This attention to detail helped the customer develop a more consistent brand presentation across products with very different manufacturing requirements.
AT PACK's one-stop service also gave R Qahwah Café the flexibility to introduce additional products as its business needs developed.
The initial project focused on opening essentials, but the customer's requirements soon extended into retail coffee packaging.
When R Qahwah Café planned to sell packaged coffee, AT PACK helped develop customized 12oz coffee bags, including a purchase of 2,000 pieces.
Our team assisted with the layout of coffee origin, roasting and flavor information, helping organize the English and Arabic content without overcrowding the packaging.
We also provided guidance on practical packaging details such as zipper placement, degassing valves and heat-sealing requirements.
As the café's beverage offering developed, product requirements continued to change.
For example, the customer found that the original wider straws were more suitable for bubble tea than matcha drinks. AT PACK worked on a thinner straw solution for the subsequent order, helping the customer better match the packaging supplies to the beverages being served.
Seasonal branding created another opportunity.
With Ramadan approaching, R Qahwah Café began exploring special packaging designs that could reflect the occasion while maintaining the brand's established visual identity.
From everyday cups and bags to retail coffee packaging and holiday-themed products, AT PACK could continue supporting new requirements without the customer having to rebuild its supplier network.
Our flexible sourcing approach also allows growing cafés to explore suitable order quantities for different products, including smaller customized runs where manufacturing requirements permit.
The objective is to help businesses develop a complete branded product range while avoiding unnecessary purchasing complexity.
Product customization was only one part of the project.
As the opening deadline approached, AT PACK also needed to coordinate products manufactured by different production teams, each with its own schedule.
The Chinese New Year holiday period added further pressure to production and domestic transportation.
Rather than waiting for every product to be ready before arranging one shipment, our team helped organize a phased delivery plan according to product readiness and urgency.
Different shipping options, including faster ocean freight and standard sea freight, were discussed to balance delivery requirements with transportation costs.
The project eventually involved tracking four separate shipments, with AT PACK coordinating packing lists, shipment updates and tracking information.
When one shipment containing 237 cartons encountered customs clearance delays, our team continued following up on the situation and updating the customer until the goods were released.
The process required ongoing coordination, but it reduced the amount of supplier and logistics management the customer needed to handle independently.
Throughout the project, AT PACK remained the main communication point for artwork, product specifications, production progress, shipping arrangements and order follow-up.
Multiple products, different production processes and several shipments — coordinated through one sourcing partner.
R Qahwah Café's first major packaging and café supply order reached approximately US$33,170, covering a broad range of products needed for the new store.
The project brought together customized paper and plastic packaging, drinkware, serving accessories and branded staff merchandise, helping the customer build a more coordinated café presentation.
The relationship did not end with the initial opening supplies.
In June 2026, the customer placed another order worth approximately US$2,210, including coffee bags and straws.
By October 2026, a further order valued at approximately US$13,480 was being prepared, alongside discussions about Ramadan-themed packaging.
This progression demonstrates how the partnership expanded from opening essentials to ongoing operational supplies, retail packaging and seasonal product development.
Customer feedback also reflected growing confidence in AT PACK's support.
After reviewing the customized cup carriers and takeaway boxes, the customer commented:
"Very well done."
Following the revised ceramic cup printing, the customer responded:
"I love it!!!! Thank you!"
The customer also expressed appreciation for the team's efforts and later shared AT PACK's contact information with friends and family.
For R Qahwah Café, the value of working with AT PACK extended beyond the number of products purchased.
The customer gained a familiar sourcing partner that understood the brand's design preferences, product specifications and operational requirements.
New products could be developed using existing brand information, while repeat orders could build on previously confirmed artwork and specifications.
This reduced repeated communication and made it easier to expand the product range as new business needs emerged.
For AT PACK, the project demonstrates what a one-stop coffee packaging and café supply partnership can offer:
A wide product range, flexible customization, coordinated quality requirements, professional design support and more convenient purchasing and delivery management.
Instead of spending time searching for different manufacturers, R Qahwah Café could focus more attention on its customers, menu development and daily operations.
From a complete café opening supply project to an expanding range of customized packaging and repeat orders.
AT PACK helps coffee businesses simplify sourcing, maintain a consistent brand identity and grow with one reliable supply partner.
