THE CLOUD COFFEE AND COCKTAILS was preparing to open a new café in Houston, Texas. The owner already had a brand direction and was working with a design company in Shenzhen, but transforming those designs into finished packaging and café supplies required another level of coordination.
The café needed products for hot and cold drinks, takeaway service, food packaging, in-store presentation and staff uniforms. Each category had different specifications, production requirements and costs.
What began as a conversation at a Houston trade show in April 2025 developed into a one-stop sourcing project. AT PACK helped the customer bring multiple customized products together, refine the purchasing plan around an approximately $8,000 budget and arrange delivery to the United States.
For THE CLOUD COFFEE AND COCKTAILS, preparing a new café meant bringing many different products together before opening.
The owner needed customized paper cups and plastic cups for hot and cold beverages, matching lids, takeaway carriers, pastry packaging, ceramic coffee cups, glassware and branded staff accessories.
Although these products served different purposes, they all needed to support the same brand identity.
The customer had already worked with a design company and prepared some artwork files. However, turning those designs into actual products required confirming materials, dimensions, printing details and manufacturing specifications.
Different products also meant different suppliers, production schedules and minimum order requirements.
If every category were purchased separately, the customer would need to communicate with several manufacturers, compare individual quotations and manage multiple deliveries.
The biggest challenge emerged when the initial purchasing plan exceeded the available budget.
With store preparation, equipment and other opening expenses already competing for funds, the customer set a maximum packaging and supply budget of approximately US$8,000.
Simply choosing the cheapest product in each category would not necessarily solve the problem. The café still needed suitable materials, reliable quality and a consistent brand presentation.
The owner was also concerned about international shipping, import duties and customs clearance. The important figure was not just the manufacturing price, but the total cost of getting the products to the café in Houston.
The challenge was to create a complete, practical café supply plan that balanced branding, product quality, purchasing priorities and total delivery costs.
AT PACK approached the project as a complete café opening requirement rather than a series of individual product quotations.
Our team helped organize the customer's needs across several categories, including 12oz and 16oz hot drink paper cups, 12oz and 16oz cold drink cups, matching lids, two-cup takeaway bags and carriers, greaseproof paper, pastry bags, ceramic cups and saucers, glassware, aprons and caps.
This allowed the customer to review different products within one coordinated purchasing plan.
When the original selection exceeded the budget, AT PACK worked with the owner to reconsider the product mix.
Instead of simply reducing prices across every item, we reviewed which products were most important for the initial opening and which could be removed or adjusted.
Some apparel items were removed, and the quotation was revised to approximately US$7,900, bringing the proposed purchase within the customer's budget while retaining the previously discussed discount.
The objective was not to sell the largest possible number of products.
It was to help the customer prioritize the packaging and café supplies needed for the business.
This is an important part of AT PACK's one-stop service: providing flexible purchasing solutions based on a customer's actual business requirements, rather than treating every product as a separate transaction.
The customer already had brand designs, but still needed to see how those designs would translate into physical products.
AT PACK helped bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.
While the artwork was being finalized, our team provided product mockup references and blank templates to support design preparation.
We also reviewed the customer's existing design files and helped clarify the requirements for different packaging formats.
Before committing fully to the products, the customer wanted to inspect physical samples.
AT PACK arranged available product samples, together with photographs, labels and a sample list, making it easier to identify and evaluate the different items.
On February 12, 2026, the customer confirmed receiving the samples and expressed satisfaction with them.
This gave the owner a clearer understanding of the products' appearance and physical quality before moving forward with the broader purchasing process.
For a new café owner, professional packaging support is not only about creating an attractive design.
It is also about choosing suitable products, understanding the materials and confirming the details that affect everyday use.
By coordinating different categories through one team, AT PACK helped make these decisions easier to manage.
For an overseas café owner, purchasing customized products from China involves more than production.
Import duties, customs clearance, transportation arrangements and final delivery can all affect the overall cost and schedule.
THE CLOUD COFFEE AND COCKTAILS wanted its products delivered directly to the designated address in Houston without having to manage customs clearance and import taxes independently.
AT PACK therefore provided a door-to-door shipping solution that included customs clearance and duties.
Our team also followed changes in U.S. import requirements and helped the customer understand the shipping arrangements and landed costs.
This gave the owner a more complete view of the purchasing budget, rather than having to calculate manufacturing costs and international logistics separately.
During the delivery process, AT PACK continued following up on shipment progress and practical receiving requirements.
One issue occurred when the freight provider arrived without sufficient advance notice, leaving the customer to arrange receiving staff and space at short notice.
Our team acknowledged the problem, apologized and proposed using a different logistics provider for future shipments.
Although the delivery coordination was not perfect, addressing the issue directly helped maintain communication and trust.
For the customer, working with AT PACK meant having one main contact for product specifications, samples, manufacturing and international delivery arrangements.
Multiple products, one purchasing plan and one coordinated supply process — designed to make opening a new café easier.
Through AT PACK's coordinated sourcing approach, THE CLOUD COFFEE AND COCKTAILS moved from a broad initial product list to a more focused café supply plan aligned with its budget.
The revised quotation of approximately US$7,900 brought together essential customized packaging and café supplies across multiple categories.
The customer was able to develop a coordinated product range without independently managing separate manufacturers for cups, food packaging, ceramics, glassware and branded accessories.
Physical samples also helped build confidence in the products before the project progressed.
After receiving the finished goods, the customer shared positive feedback on the product appearance and quality:
"They look really good. You all did a great job."
The customer also commented:
"Aside from that, the products look good."
The second comment followed a discussion about the delivery communication issue, which AT PACK acknowledged and addressed with a proposed improvement for future shipments.
The relationship also created opportunities for continued cooperation.
After receiving the products, the customer asked about production lead times and air freight options for additional cups and lids, including a possible replenishment requirement of approximately 10,000–20,000 cups.
With the café expecting a busy first 90 days after opening, the owner wanted to understand how future orders could help maintain sufficient packaging inventory and consistent branding.
Although the additional order had not yet been confirmed in the available project records, the discussion showed how the initial supply project could develop into an ongoing purchasing relationship.
For THE CLOUD COFFEE AND COCKTAILS, the value of AT PACK's service extended beyond receiving customized products.
It meant having a partner who could help organize different packaging categories, work within a defined budget, support product verification and coordinate international delivery.
For AT PACK, the project demonstrates that one-stop coffee packaging and café supply services are not only about offering a wide product range.
They are about helping coffee businesses turn complex purchasing requirements into a more practical, manageable process.
From paper cups and plastic drinkware to food packaging, ceramic products, glassware and staff accessories, AT PACK supports customized solutions across the products a café needs.
